Learn to Skate

Learn to Skate registration will be open soon! This winter, the Cortland Figure Skating Club is offering a 9-week session of classes.

Classes will take place:

Wednesdays 5:30pm - 6:30pm, starts January 8 (no class January 29 and February 19)

Sundays 1:30pm - 2:30pm, starts January 12 (no class February 2)

@ J.M. McDonald Sport Complex Ice Rink

Each session includes a 30 minute lesson and 30 minutes of free skate/practice.

Registration is for Wednesdays, Sundays, or both. Due to staffing constraints and group size, missed sessions may not be made up another day.

Payment must be received before skaters can get on the ice.

Fees:

$135 for 9 classes, all Wednesdays or all Sundays ($10 sibling discount available)

$250 for both days (24 classes, already discounted, not eligible for sibling discount)

plus

$20 for mandatory registration with Learn to Skate USA (annual membership, expires July 1st, 2025, provides on-ice insurance to your skater)

*skaters who participated in our Fall session will not need to pay Learn to Skate USA fee again in January*
