Professional Staff
Jeff Petri
Jeff is an experienced coach who enjoys teaching all levels of skaters – from beginners to high-level competitors. He encourages skating as a lifetime sport. Jeff has personally completed the International Ice Dance and Gold Free Ice Dance levels. He has coached skaters up to sectional and national competitive levels and has had numerous gold medalists. Jeff is also a presenter/demonstrator at various seminars for skaters and judges.
Ann-Marie Partis
Ann-Marie has been a coach with the CFSC since 2006 and has skated with the club for 30 years. She has experienced skating on and coaching synchronized skating teams. She has passed her senior Moves in the Field (now Skills), gold dances, many international dances, and juvenile free skate. She is a Grade B supervisor at DSS and has worked there for 11 years.
Stacy Petri
Stacy is an experienced coach who loves teaching all levels of skaters - from beginners (LTS) to high-level competitors. From her early days of skating as a young girl, Stacy grew up in an Ice Rink and now is one of the leading coaches in Upstate NY. Her skaters compete at the local, sectional and national levels and she has enjoyed working with many gold medalists.
Amanda Demmerle
Amanda has been doing private coaching for 3 years, and teaching Learn to skate 6 years. She has 3 gold medals in moves in the field, senior free dance and dance and is currently working on Junior Freeskate and international dances. She is a Junior at SUNY Cortland with a dual major: Adolescent Education Social Studies and History. Amanda is in the college honors program and is also the president of the SUNY Cortland Figure Skating club. Amanda loves working with student of all ages and levels and sharing her love of the sport.
Lucia Lombardi
Lucia has been skating for 15 years, and has been coaching with Cortland FSC since 2022. She has previously skated and coached in central Illinois. She has her gold medal in ice dance and is currently working on international dances and silver skating skills. Outside of skating, she works at Ithaca College in Student Financial Services.
Katie Lin
Katie has been coaching for 4 years, and absolutely loves working with students of all levels, ages, and backgrounds. In her time as a competitive figure skater, she earned 7 gold medals in US Solo Free Dance, Skills, Dance, International Dance, and Free Skate, and Canadian Skills and Dance. She adores helping skaters achieve their goals, guiding them at competitions and test sessions, and having fun. She is a sophomore at Cornell University double majoring in Sociology and English, with a minor in Law & Society on the pre-law track.
Isabelle Woodward
Isabelle has been skating for 16 years and has a gold medal in Moves in the field, Ice dance and Senior solo free dance. She has completed Intermediate free skate and is working on international dances. She is currently a freshman at SUNY Cortland majoring in outdoor recreation. She enjoys teaching the next generation of skaters.
